The All Progressives Congress, APC, in Osun State has answered Davido’s dad, Dr Deji Adeleke, over cases that his sibling, Ademola Adeleke was denied of his triumph in the 2018 Osun State election.

Adeleke had said that the ”sunshine theft” that denied his sibling of the order openly given by the great individuals of Osun State, had carried disgrace and disrespect to Nigeria as a nation.

Anyway responding to the case, the APC in an announcement marked by its Media Director, Barr Kunle Oyatomi, said that Senator Ademola Adeleke isn’t a representative today since he lost the Osun Governorship election. It peruses in full;

The announcement of Dr Deji Adeleke that his sibling, the PDP applicant won the decision has no premise in law and in certainties and ought to be dismissed by all good natured individuals who trust in the standard of law and the just procedure.

“That Deji Adeleke and some other individuals urgently wanted for his sibling to win couldn’t make him triumphant. All the more significantly, notwithstanding, is the way that at no time during the race procedure did INEC announce Senator Ademola Adeleke victor.

“At first, the decision was stalemated on the grounds that no reasonable victor rose because of genuine abnormalities and savagery in Orolu, Osogbo and Ife Federal voting demographics, which rendered the votes at seven surveying units invalid.

“In law, when there is such a stalemate, INEC makes the assurance for a re-run race at those surveying units; particularly so if the complete votes in the influenced units are all that could possibly be needed to upswing any favorable position of both of the two driving contenders.

“The PDP applicant lost the re-run decision and along these lines couldn’t progress toward becoming representative. By then the case went to the Tribunal for legitimate assurance.

“In spite of the fact that the Election Tribunal in its judgment gave the decision to the PDP, the Superior Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of the nation clarified in their assurance of the situation of the law that;

“Not exclusively was INEC appropriate to proclaim the main race stalemated, the ultimate result of the procedure created an unmistakable champ, who is Governor Gboyega Oyetola, the APC competitor.

“In this way, legitimately and verifiably, the champ was the APC competitor but by a restricted edge. Such a re-run decision was not unconventional to the territory of Osun. Comparative circumstances had happened in some different states when that of the province of Osun.

“Such circumstances happened in Imo (2011 and 2015), Anambra (2013), Taraba (2015), Abia (2015), Kogi (2015), and Bayelsa (2015). After Osun in 2018, INEC, engaged by Electoral Law in Sec 53 (3), additionally in March 2019, pronounced uncertain, guber races in Bauchi, Benue, Kano, Plateau and Sokoto.

“Champs and failures had developed after the re-run and the Supreme Court upholded the result. The instance of Osun, in this way, isn’t unusual.

“For Dr Deji Adeleke to in any case be envisioning that his sibling won the decision, essentially demonstrates that he has sparse respect for the standard of law and faith in the law based procedure.”
