Coronavirus: India Restricts-visa to these Countries. Following the recent outbreak of coronavirus, India has enacted a policy restricting visas from the following countries: Italy, Iran, South Korea and Japan. India has cancelled all valid issued visas to the citizens of Italy, Iran, South Korea and Japan who have not yet entered the country.
Also, visas issued to the citizens of any nationality who have visited these aforementioned four countries, plus China, since Feb.1 have been withdrawn..
India is out to protect its citizens, though this will have a negative effect on their economy likewise the economy of the countries restricted entrance into their country owing to the fact that most of the conventional drugs used to combat diseases are produced in India. It will not only crumble the economy but impose hazard on the health of some people because the gateway to source those required drugs has been blocked.
I applaud the government of India for this singular policy enacted. This shows that they have the interest of their citizens at heart. The value the lives of their citizens more than any other thing. Most of the countries affected by this outbreak of coronavirus failed their citizens by not following the footstep of India, thus, leaving the lives of their citizen in severe danger.
The magnitude to which the coronavirus spread from China would have been contained had other countries restricted movement of people from China into their various countries till the coronavirus is able to be contained in China. This has led to panic across all nations since there is no yet scientifically and medically proven cure to the disease.

Many out there are criticizing this policy from India but they have taken the right decision, though harsh. Most times, desperate times calls for desperate measure and India has taken this desperate measure to curb this desperate menace that has befallen so many nations.
